The expansion includes 28 track tiles and four expanded locomotive cards that replace the train tiles and six-sided die used in the base game.

This expansion requires the Days of Steam game in order to play. The original six-sided die and player train tiles are placed aside and not used. All of the other original components of Days of Steam are needed to play.
