Through strong design, ancestral patterns and rich saturated colours, her art expresses the magnificence of the Canadian landscape.Wynne Parkin was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She studied fine art in San Miguel de Allende Mexico. Her love of travel and adventure took her to Egypt where she spent month’s scuba diving in the Red sea. It was here that her deep connection with nature was formed. Wynne’s painting style was influenced by Canada’s group of seven and Norval Morriseau.Wynne resides in Lac Megantic Quebec. Her work is in private collections worldwide and Canadian House of Parliament.
