Meeplemart Status Update 03/02/14

After a ridiculously long move, we are in our new space and are about 75% set up. We have a computer setup and will be able to answer emails going forward, however we have a backlog of a few hundred emails so please be patient. As you know by now, the opening was postponed a week to this upcoming Saturday, March 8. I made this decision for a number of reasons; our new staff members are absolutely exhausted after working multiple 12-19 hour days and I felt that if we launched, it would have been to chaotic for our customers and new staff members. In addition a number of store fixtures never arrived and we ran out of the ones that did. We will reveal the new address ASAP (you may spot the new sign going up this week). There is a valid reason why we have not revealed the address yet, which I will explain, once we do. There are a few problems with the new website, most notably with pre-orders and incorrect pictures and/or product descriptions. We have people working on fixing these issues. Rest assured, if you experienced any kind of pre-order charges and did not get a confirmation email, we will resolve the problem with you, (either refunding you or manually entering in your pre-order in our system). We are expecting new Fantasy Flight releases this week as well as an enormous puzzle order (effectively quadrupling our puzzle section) as well as tons more stuff. Again, I would like to apologize for the lengthy down time and delay. This transition has taken far longer than anticipated. The good news: In 6 days, the largest Online game store in Canada will evolve into the second largest Brick & Mortar game store in Canada.
