The Revenge was a 46-gun galleon built in 1577, based on a revolutionary new design that would become the standard for 300 years. She served as the flagship of the famous Sir Francis Drake, who captained her to many victories against the Spanish. She was ultimately captured in 1591, after battling 50 Spanish ships for 15 hours. Before the Spaniards could deliver their prize, however, the Revenge sank in a storm of the Azores. This magnificently detailed 1/350 scale model sailing ship features complete rigging, sails, and ships guns. Based on the historical deck plans, this model is accurate in detail, yet the clever design is easy to assemble with no glue required!
