In Theophrastus, each player is an applicant to the post of apprentice to the great alchemist and physician Theophrastus Bombast von Hohenheim. By completing assigned experiments and measuring their potential as alchemists, the applicants seek to impress Theophrastus by closely duplicating his research, or by reducing the quality of a competitor's experiment. Alas, there can be only one apprentice...can you make the grade? For 2-5 players, ages 9 and up.
