The Buckler Class Escort is primarily designed to cover the Aft arc of a Dindrenzi Battleship against tailing enemy ships. The speed and maneuverability of a Squadron of Bucklers allows them to zip around an escorted ship, laying down fire in all arcs. Due to its efficiency and cheap construction the Buckler now sees service throughout the Dindrenzi fleet.
