Meeplemart Pre-Orders & Changes -UPDATE

We have cancelled and refunded all the pre-orders we are going to cancel at this time. If you have not received a cancellation email and refund, we are just going to keep your Pre-order "as-is" and let you, the customer decide to cancel or keep it. If you want to keep it, nothing is required on your end, we will email you when your products arrive, (but as per our pre-order policy, you will have to pay any price differences.)

I think this is the best way to phase out the pre-orders, especially for those of you who have partial orders on hold and are waiting for pre-ordered items to arrive. (We really are trying to work this out with minimal damage.)

I realise this whole ordeal sounds like a mess and well, it kind of is, but once all the "current" pre-orders are fulfilled, everything should be cleaned up and clearer for everyone in the future.

Just a couple of notes;

-Most "Coming Soon" products are now being put up on the site with the $US MSRP as a "placeholder" price and will definitely NOT be our selling price when the item arrives. I thought it better to provide our customers a "ball park" idea of what it will be, rather than a price of "TBA". If you guys think this is a bad move, please let me know.

-We have been really light on restocks and new releases for the first quarter of 2015. This was partially due to the Canadian dollar tanking, but also following our 2015 business strategy. Going into the second quarter, we will be increasing our quantities both on our restocks and (especially) our new releases. This will hopefully counteract any issues with new releases selling out quickly and the lack of being able to Pre-Order. So basically, we took a couple of steps back, in order to make a leap forward.

-You may have noticed some weird changes with the website menus in regards to the "New Arrivals" and "Coming Soon" sections/ statuses. In order to streamline this aspect of our business, some back end changes are being made and both these sections will be phased out in the next couple of weeks. However, the functionally of them will be merged with the respective product lines. For example: To see Board and Card game "Coming Soon" and "New Arrivals" releases, you now look under the "Board & Card Game" Menu. They will also appear in individual categories as well. For example: When looking at Fantasy Flight Games, you will have a flip menu available to see the "New Arrivals" and what is "Coming Soon" from Fantasy Flight Games. Hope this explanation makes sense.

Stay tuned for more updates and changes in the near future...
